Progressive economics for people and place

Our aim is to achieve social justice, good local economies and effective public services for everyone, everywhere. It is an exciting time to join the CLES team as our work continues to diversify and our influence grows.

About the role

Researcher – £18k – £25k You will have a degree in a relevant social science discipline; knowledge of and interest in contemporary policy around local economic development; and ideally some experience of working/interning in an environment which undertakes research or policy formulation. You will play a key role in producing publications and in delivering activities as part of our research, consultancy and advisory commissions. This will likely include primary and secondary research, data analysis and interpretation, organising events, and contributing towards drafting bids.
