Summit: overwhelming demand means a change of venue

Following overwhelming demand, CLES will be relocating this year’s Community Wealth Building Summit to The Florence Institute in Liverpool (the Florrie).

This was a decision we struggled with: Birkenhead Town Hall is a stunning venue and our friends at Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council have been extremely accommodating. In the end it came down to a matter of wanting as many people as possible to join us in building the Community Wealth Building movement.

The event programme for the day is now complete and our list of contributors is nearly finalised – and we are pleased to announce that Rebecca Long-Bailey, MP for Salford and Eccles and Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy will be joining us to launch the Community Wealth Building Centre of Excellence.

If you are interested in attending the event, you can find all the details here.

Update: this event has now sold out again! We hope to be able to release more places soon so please add your name to the waiting list here.
