Local economic development theories and concepts

This CLES learning event will introduce participants to the key theories and concepts which underpin contemporary local economic development practice. It will explore how theorists such as Adam Smith and Jane Jacobs have influenced economic development; together with how concepts such inward investment and urban renaissance have shaped practice over the last fifty years.
