Community Wealth at heart of People’s Powerhouse
CLES Deputy Chief Executive Matthew Jackson delivered a workshop at the People’s Powerhouse Conference on Wednesday 12th July.
The workshop focused on CLES work on community wealth building on how existing wealth can be harnessed through procurement and harnessing the economic, social and environmental potential of anchor institutions. It included case studies of collaborative work in Manchester and Preston. The Conference sought to re-think the approach to creating a growing and more equal North of England and included contributions from a range of policy shapers and makers.
