Good News, Fake News, and the need for Social Audit!
On 20 October, The Social Audit Network’s Annual Gathering 2017 entitled “Reporting on Social Value – Good News, Fake News, and the need for Social Audit!” takes place in Liverpool and features keynote speaker Neil McInroy, CLES CEO.
Social Audit Network is holding two mini-conferences in one. A morning focusing on accounting for social, environmental and economic impacts with keynote speech, practical exercises and case study examples; and an afternoon focusing on the process and practicalities of social audit.
Morning event: Good news or fake news
Aimed at everyone, no prior knowledge of SAA required, but targeting people who would like to use social accounting in their own organisation to account for their outputs and outcomes. Including Keynote speaker Neil McInroy (CLES, CEO).
Afternoon event: The need for audit
A much more detailed look at social audit – qualifying as the Social Auditors’ CPD, but also exploring practice around audit and assurance, including the use of tools for self-assessment.
Come to either the morning or the afternoon – or come for the whole day to take part in the full debate!
