Procure Network Final Conference

The URBACT Procure Project team is pleased to invite you to the final conference of its network. Come along and discover the key findings from the URBACT III Procure Action Planning Network and learn about the progressive public procurement practices at local and European levels with: Procure’s Lead Expert, Mr Matthew Jackson, and Lead Coordinator, Mrs Tamar Reay, and representatives from the European Commission DG Grow, the Urban Agenda Partnership for Innovative and Responsible Procurement and the URBACT Programme.
The agenda for the day will include:
A review of the Procure network
- The starting point: Initial ambition and key areas of thematic learning
- Key findings from the network
- How the network has enabled change and made a difference in progressing public procurement
Discussions and presentations on
- Public procurement in Italy and the Metropolitan City of Bologna
- The fit with contemporary EU procurement policy
- The link with cross-European practice
- The synergy with Integrated Urban Development
Lunch will be provided at the venue and the day will offer further networking opportunities for you to explore the exciting progress made by our network of cities.
