B79: How do we do local economic development post CSR?

This Bulletin explores how we do local economic development in a cold economic climate through examining a number of levers.

In this we explore opportunities for both local authority economic development departments and the voluntary and community sector. These levers, summarised in the table below, are drawn both from new powers advocated by Government and CLES’ own policy thinking around the future of local economic development.
