Charlie joined CLES in June 2022. Charlie’s strong research and analytical skills and his deep understanding of the international political economy makes him a great asset to the CLES team. We are particularly pleased to have Charlie’s perspective from his experience working in the Scottish social housing sector.

Since first coming across CLES through its Community Wealth Building work in North Ayrshire, I have been fascinated by the work they do on creating progressive local economies that work for people, place and planet.
I am excited by the opportunity to work with partners in Scotland and beyond in trying to develop an economy that helps those struggling the most in society. I believe that through its pioneering approach and passion for change, CLES can make this happen.
