Co-operative Congress 2018

etc venues, 155 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3TQ

CLES CEO Neil McInroy will chair a session focusing on “The role of cooperatives in developing prosperous local communities” at this years’ annual Co-operative Congress.  The session takes place from 12:00 – 13:00 and CLES will lead this session and share their experiences of their work in this field.

On Saturday 23 June 2018, you can come together with other members, directors, activists and CEOs from co‑operatives large and small throughout the country. Last year, Hollywood actor and activist Martin Sheen attended Congress, so who knows who you could bump into this year!

With keynote speakers on practical policies for growing the co‑op economy, and a focus on technology and community co‑ops, there’ll be plenty of stimulating debate, topics to explore and lively discussion that will inform and inspire you.  And, of course, included in the price is access to numerous valuable workshops covering a range of subjects and skills – from practical sessions on getting to grips with HR and governance, to exploring the role of co‑operatives in community economic development, and growing the co‑operative tech sector.

Keep an eye on the Congress pages of the Co-operative website for all the breaking news on our speakers, workshops and sessions.
