Future High Street Summit
A new 2-day conference, the Future High Street Summit has just been launched. This event will take place on 26th & 27th March 2014 at the National Space Centre in Leicester. Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES) is a supporter of this event.
This event focuses on sharing innovation and success stories that have been proven to have had a positive impact where deployed. Speakers will explain how other areas can benefit from their lessons-learned, by adapting the ideas, making them relevant and appropriate for other local communities. Delegates will be a mix of those whose focus and future depends on the transformation of our high streets – town centre managers, business improvement districts, economic regeneration teams, retail and consumer facing businesses (of all sizes), property developers and landlords. The event will not only highlight the art of possible but will give practical advice based on real-world delivery that will enable all those who attend to weigh up the viability of the ideas they hear for their own areas.
The aim of this event is to ensure that all those who attend will leave with a “shopping list” of solutions that will enable them to implement practical changes that can quickly and cost effectively transform the fortunes of their future high street.

The networking opportunities are extended further, to really help build the relationships, with an optional gala dinner to round off day 1.
