Ards and North Down Borough Council, Northern Ireland is pleased to announce the launch of its 2018 – 2030 Integrated Strategy which sets out a vision for Tourism, Regeneration and Economic Development in a planning context.  CLES’ CEO Neil McInroy will be speaking and joining the panel at the event.

The Strategy is the result of a substantial consultative effort on the part of the Council to create a long-term vision for the Borough and its residents, businesses and communities. It will be used as a strategic tool for all those contributing to the growth of our economy, the welcoming of visitors and the improvement of our places, both urban and rural.

Morning session: 9.00am – 1.00pm – Launch of the Strategy and Blue, Green, Creatively Connected Conference.

Afternoon session: 1.45pm – 4.00pm Pre-consultation on employability programmes.

You are kindly invited to attend the launch of this Integrated Strategy from 9.00am-1.00pm and participate in an interactive forum focusing on the regeneration of people, place and economies.

The afternoon session, will be a pre-consultation workshop on employability programmes and services. This will be hosted by the Department for Communities, in partnership with the Council. Your views will be sought and will contribute to the final content.
