Local Economic Development Masterclass – Supporting Economic Resilience
Join international local economic development experts, locally elected politicians, business associations and social development agencies for an ‘interactive day’ to learn from successful models of how local areas have created and sustained economic resilience
International speakers:
Neil McInroy, Chief Executive of the Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES), Manchester, England is a leading commentator on economic development and public policy. Neil has collaborated with a broad range of local, regional and national governments and agencies across the UK, Europe, Asia, America and Australasia.
Dr Ingrid Burkett is a Social Design Fellow at the Australian Centre for Social Innovation. Ingrid has contributed to the design of policy and processes in a diversity of fields, including community development, social investment, social enterprise and social procurement.
In addition to the Masterclass, two focus sessions are also included in the programme which will allow delegates to interact with our international speakers and discuss practical solutions in small groups. Find out more.
