- Do you currently live, work or provide services in Abram Ward – Abram, Bamfurlong, Bickershaw, Platt Bridge or Springview?
- Do you have an idea that could help to improve your community and the lives of those that live there?
- Have you considered turning this idea into a Community Business?
- Abram Ward Community Cooperative have developed a new initiative – Made in Wigan, to offer help, guidance and possible financial support to exciting new business ideas that help to tackle issues within Abram Ward.
- We are looking for Community Businesses to fund and support – let us know your ideas to be in with a chance of securing up to £2000 in seed funding – voted for by the residents of Abram Ward.
If your idea is aimed at one or more of the following, we would love to hear from you:
- Prevention or relief of poverty
- Advancement of citizenship or community development
- Advancement of arts, culture, heritage or science
- Advancement of amateur sport
- Promotion of religious or racial harmony or equality and diversity
- Advancement of environmental protection or improvement
- Relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
