Measuring local economic spend (LM3)

Tuesday 7th June 2016, central Manchester

10am until 1pm

This CLES learning event will introduce participants to the Local Multiplier 3 (LM3) methodology. LM3 can be used to explore how the spend of a local authority service department or a project, for example, circulates in a local economy. The learning event will be practical and will introduce you to the principles of LM3, the data required to undertake the analysis, and take you step-by step through a real example.

This is a ‘hands on’ practical course and delegates will need to have a working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets in order to complete the practical tasks.
