Measuring Social Value
Tuesday 17th January 2017, central Manchester
9.00am to 5pm
This CLES learning event will introduce participants to the concept of social value, and support trainees to identify the right approach for them. The course will be ordered according to the step-by-step process required to evidence social value. The course will present existing tools to measure social value such as well-being surveys, SROI and the HACT social value model. There will also be practical activities to guide learners through the creation of their own bespoke social value tools when the right measures do not already exist. Trainees will leave with frameworks and guidance so they can begin measuring their organisation’s social value.
Date TBC at training
An optional half-day session to take place three months after the main training course. The session is an opportunity for trainees to share any issues they have faced putting what they have learnt into practice with the trainer. Learners will also be able to catch-up with other trainees and learn from each other’s experiences. There will be a refresh of any course content required.
