CLES Deputy Chief Executive joins Inclusive Economic Development task force

CLES Deputy Chief Executive, Matthew Jackson has been selected as one of seven Europeans to be part of a transatlantic task force focused on Inclusive Economic Development.

Organised by the German Marshall Fund of the United States, the task force will convene in Turin, Italy in January 2018 and Cleveland, United States in June 2018 to discuss the intersection of jobs, skills and wages.

‘I am honoured to have been selected to take part in this task force – it is an opportunity to enhance CLES’ thinking around progressive economics for people and place, and learn from counterparts across Europe and the United States.’
