CLES programme at 2017 Party Political Conferences

CLES will be attending three party political conferences this Autumn with a new fringe event developed with Barrow Cadbury Trust and Friends Provident Foundation to explore issues and challenges facing developing economic justice and local economies more generally.

Whilst each event will have a different focus we will use each session to hold a “Question Time” style debate with senior national and local politicians and civil society thinkers to discuss the provision of bespoke support for local businesses and social enterprises and how we can support local suppliers through progressive, local, public procurement.
