Creating a register of community-owned assets
Do you own or manage a community asset? Register it on the Community Assets Exchange (CAsE), a new comprehensive register of community assets in England, and be in with the chance of winning a £100 gift voucher.
Why register?
- Registration is very quick and simple and will allow bodies to contact you with relevant funding and support opportunities and help you to connect with others who control assets.
- Registration is also vital for improving local networks and for the sector to promote itself and influence policy makers.
- The register will be publicly available, minimising repetitive requests about the assets that you manage.
Who is behind it?
Sheffield Hallam University are working with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, Power to Change and Locality to create CAsE.
How do I register our community asset?
To register an asset you will be asked to provide the address/location of the asset, select the category the asset falls into, and answer three simple questions about the ownership status.
In return for registering your assets you will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two £100 gift vouchers. Register your asset here: http://bit.ly/GetOnCAsE
