Local Wealth Building movement grows: CLES working with Wirral Council

CLES are working with Wirral Council to develop an inclusive economy strategy that will secure a more prosperous future for people and communities across the Wirral.

The collaboration will build on Wirral’s existing innovation around Social Value, and CLES’ knowledge and experience of building local wealth through procurement and anchor institutions.

The strategy will bring together elected councillors, community businesses and social partners across the Wirral to identify areas for building a democratic economic, and develop a strategic narrative around Wirral’s wealth-building journey.
