A New Regeneration Agenda

This Local Work is inspired by what is being dubbed ‘the new regeneration agenda’. Recent policy initiatives and directions such as the Urban White Paper (DETR 2000)1, Local Strategic Partnerships (LSP) guidance (DETR, 2001) and the National Strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal (Social Exclusion Unit 2001) mean we are seeing a considerable reshaping of regeneration and regeneration policy.
