Ahead of the government’s spring Spending Review, CLES has written a briefing for MPs, arguing the case for investment in local public services to support economic growth.

This briefing was sent to all MPs in the week of 24 March 2025 and provides details of research carried out by CLES, following our joint work exploring the contribution of local public services to our economy with APSE and the University of Staffordshire.
