Since working with CLES to adopt community wealth building in 2013, Preston’s approach has become internationally recognised and has helped to shape community wealth building practice across the UK and beyond. This latest report examines why Preston appears to have performed more favourably than many comparable places on child poverty and what may explain that relative resilience.

The report explores the contribution of housing, employment, cost-of-living support and community wealth building and sets out how these lessons could shape the next phase of local policy.
