About this event

Join CLES for this free interactive workshop designed for councillors who want practical tools to build stronger, fairer local economies through community wealth building (CWB).

Whether you’re new to CWB or looking for ways to strengthen your impact locally, this session will introduce the core principles of community wealth building, alongside a real-world case study of putting the approach into practice.

Through discussion and collaborative exercises, participants will explore the challenges facing their communities, identify opportunities within their own roles and networks, and leave with clear, actionable ideas they can take back to their councils.

This workshop is open to councillors of all backgrounds and parties who share a commitment to creating more inclusive and resilient local economies.

An online workshop for councillors exploring the principles of community wealth building and how to apply the approach in your own council.

15:30 – 16:30, Tuesday 30 June 2026
