Over the next five years, the programme will work closely with established community based organisations in seven local areas, providing them with the mix of grants, support and practical tools that they need to become catalysts for new networks of community businesses in their areas.
Capacity support will be provided to develop and strengthen the knowledge, skills, abilities and resources of the catalysts and their wider community. Through this, catalysts will provide the conditions for community businesses to flourish in their areas, and will be equipped to accelerate their growth.
Co-operatives UK (CUK), in partnership with Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES), New Economics Foundation (NEF), and Kineo, are Programme Partners of Power to Change’s Empowering Places Programme.
We are inviting expert capacity support providers to apply to be part of this exciting programme.
More information on the types of skills and experience required are provided in the Specification Pack [pdf download – 435kb]
Apply to become a capacity support provider by 11th February. Further information can be found here.
