Building a New Local Economy in Wales: manifesto launch

|

The manifesto sets out the steps needed to support communities to build stronger local economies, and has been in development since an initial conference in October 2017.

The launch will be the culmination of 9 months of strong, collaborative working consisting of discussions at the initial conference, which were built on in February. The manifesto covers topics from asset transfer to procurement, social care to community enterprise.

Neil will be delivering a presentation with Chris Johnes from Building Communities Trust. Ben Cottam from the Federation of Small Businesses and Meleri Davies from the social enterprise Partneriaeth Ogwen will also deliver presentations.
