Alice is on secondment with CLES from City-REDI, at the University of Birmingham. Her areas of expertise are:
Her recent work has included building connections between CLES and higher education institutes across the UK, conducting spend analysis for several partner councils including North Yorkshire and Brent, and conducting economic impact assessments for the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) and Unite.

Over the last couple of years, I have worked with CLES on a few occasions, and I am very excited to now be joining CLES on secondment at a time when local economic development has become a key national policy focus.
Whilst at CLES I hope to further develop my work around inclusive and sustainable local economic development, embedding the work into the Local Policy Innovation Partnership project, including the development of innovative socio-economic impact assessment methodologies.
