Emma is CLES’s Business Manager, leading the organisation’s administrative and operational functions across finance, HR and governance. She plays a central role in ensuring CLES operates effectively and sustainably, enabling the organisation to deliver local economic transformation.
Emma brings a wealth of experience from the not-for-profit sector, underpinned by a strong interest in local government, public affairs and policy, campaigning, and social and economic issues. Her background spans education and local government, and prior to joining CLES, Emma spent over ten years managing operations, member services and finance for a national professional association supporting local authority elected members and community campaigners.
