Lauren Bond

Head of Delivery

Lauren joined CLES in June 2021. Previously Lauren worked as the Sandwell Anchor Network Coordinator for CLES, where she was charge of a partnership of Sandwell based institutions. Lauren led this partnership to work on the key areas of procurement and employment to shape the Sandwell economy, which included redirecting hundreds of thousands of pounds of public sector food and drink procurement spend back into the local economy. As Head of Delivery, Lauren continues to develop CLES’s work in the West Midlands and beyond.

Here’s what Lauren said when we asked her, “why did you choose CLES?”

I have been following CLES and their work since I began working on community wealth building in local government. By working for CLES, not only do I get to be at the forefront of building progressive and inclusive local economies, but in my role I get the opportunity to do that in my home of the West Midlands, working with fantastic organisations across the area.
