For too long we’ve been talking about gender equality as if it wasn’t relevant to the question of how we build strong local economies.

Through detailed socioeconomic analysis and engaging directly with women from all different walks of life, this joint research with the Women’s Budget Group provides a deep understanding of the gender inequality challenges and barriers that women face in Leeds. From this, the paper provides an agenda for change for gender inclusion with recommendations for local and national government.
