This workshop guide is the product of a major two-year international research partnership funded by the British Academy, led by the University of Sussex (UK) and NorQuest College (Canada) and in collaboration with Carleton University (Canada) and the CLES in the UK. It is designed to help organisations better understand community wealth building and net zero, and how both relate to their work.
Net zero and economic development are deeply connected – but operate in silos. This leads to missed impact, inefficient use of resources, and reduced community benefit. The workshop will help participants create a shared understanding of key concepts and priorities to deliver shared outcomes.
