In Scotland, CLES helps to shape the community wealth building agenda, working with the Government on the ground-breaking Community Wealth Building (Scotland) Act 2026. We have also worked with partners to deliver economic system change in areas like renewable energy, ownership and governance models, small businesses and employment practices. Our long-term project with partners in NHS Lothian, Fife and East Lothian explores in-work progression from the perspectives of employers, sectors and local areas. Funded by the Robertson Trust as part of its Work Pathways programme, the project runs until 2028.
